For 13 years, InD'tale Magazine served authors and readers. We were the first editorial review company built for indie authors, bringing reviews, articles, serial stories, and interviews to voracious readers. After a brief pause, and a reset, we’re back to serve our community. Our reviews still follow a rigorous standard for story craft, and we haven't lowered it. Every star rating is a promise to your TBR pile.

Julie L York, Owner and Editor-in-Chief

InD'tale has a new owner, but not a new face. Julie spent 12 of our 13 years here as a reviewer and senior editor, and she wrote our review and awards rubrics and standards. As a teacher of English and Computer Science, she has a unique blend of respect for traditions while enthusiastically embracing emerging technologies, bringing her ethical stance to everything she does. She brings the same exactness and integrity to this next season.

TJ Mackay, Founder and Interviewer

TJ founded InD'tale Magazine to give indie authors the spotlight they deserve. She's still here, sitting down with authors for our interviews, sharing the stories behind their books and creativity. Because, let’s face it, no one does interviews like she does.
